Final Blog Post

In this class, I have learned many different things from tools to how I should be acting on social media. The Connected Educator textbook that we had for this class really helped me understand the true power of making the right connections online can have. This class helped me create a LinkedIn account that can possibly help me further my career by making more connections with other people with the same interest. I learned all about the personal learning network and how I am able to help myself gain more knowledge about everything I want to know. Also, some of my classmates have shown me some incredible web tools that have never heard of before that I will be using in the future. Some of the web tools that I have never heard of before that I found interesting were Microsoft Teams and Okta. Other apps I have heard of that I still learned about some of their features from watching my classmate's presentations.

One of the tools that I have heard of and even used before was Twitter but I did not know all of the features that it had as I was still new to using it. I felt that everything was paced very nicely and transitioned smoothly into the next unit that we would take about. The only thing that I thought we could take more time on was making the Blogger page itself because I did have a little bit of trouble trying to get mine to work. I am very glad that I took this class as I now feel more confident in my internet portfolio. Also, the amount of connection that I made for my major was a nice little stepping stone for me to gather more information about the criminal justice world.
